TOPIC: Discerning God’s Will

Many times in life, we face transition: at retirement, at career Junction, at relationship junctions. How do we get direction for our life from God? We know our primary purpose in life as Orthodox Christians is to grow into theosis, where our will and God‘s will are one. How do we discern God‘s purpose for our life? How can we know whether the small still voice is from God or from our own psyche? What is the repercussion of living within God‘s will versus missing the call? Come learn with Cynthia Kostas through the story of Esther, how our destiny can be discerned in Christ.

Cynthia Kostas leads retreats and seminars pertaining to developing our spirit and nurturing our soul through our Orthodox beliefs and practices.

Deeply rooted in the Orthodox faith, Cynthia was baptized and raised at Annunciation Cathedral in Houston, Texas, where she has taught adult catechism and Bible study for over two decades. She has offered Introduction to Orthodoxy classes at both Annunciation and St. Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church, and has spoken at Orthodox churches nationwide, including the Cathedral Center in Boston.
