Donation Technical Difficulties

We're sorry to learn that you've experienced difficulty using our online donation page. Check to see if the following suggestions can help you.

(If not, you can call us at 619-426-4610 to make a donation over the phone. Be sure to leave a message if it is after hours.)

Credit Cards

If the credit card you are using does not work on our site, please use a second card. Also, please check the card for a valid expiration date (one later than today's date). If you've successfully used your card to donate on our site in the past, please contact us by phone and allow a staff member to assist you.

Disabled Cookies and Javascript

If you're getting a message from our Web site that says "cookies are disabled" or "Javascript is disabled", click on one of the following options:

Double Entry

If you used the "back" button on your browser after hitting the "Confirm My Donation" button (in order to stop the process or to change some information) and then attempted to resubmit the donation, it is possible that your donation has been sent to us twice. If this is the case, please send your comments to our staff electronically. We'll gladly correct the problem so that your credit card is not charged twice.

Browser Version

Sometimes users have not updated their Internet browser, and this can cause problems with the display of information or with functionality on the site. A browser is the software you are using to access the Internet (AOL, Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.). If our Web site is telling you your browser is not supported, you may need to upgrade your browser or use a different one. To find out what browser version you have, click on the "Help" menu at the very top of your screen, and select the "About..." option.

Web Site Errors

If all of these possibilities have been eliminated, there may be a problem with our Web site (follow this link to identify common Web page errors). We would appreciate it if you would e-mail and explain the difficulty you're having. It will also be helpful to our staff if you can provide the text of the error message (just copy it into your e-mail), and as much detail as possible. Helpful details include the name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP), the browser you use and which version (e.g., Windows XP, Macintosh OSX, etc.).
